Photo: optional, never retained

By default, Opora never asks for, receives, or retains any photo. Palmistry and iridology readings rely on a description you write yourself (free text or a selection from a list). You may optionally choose to add a photo of your hands or eyes to pre-fill that description: in that specific case, the photo is sent once to the AI to extract a text description, then deleted immediately — it is never stored on our servers or a sub-processor's, and never passed as-is to the esoteric analysis itself (which stays strictly text-based, generated or edited by you). This optional path requires its own dedicated biometric consent, separate from the others — see below.

Data collected

Email (authentication), first/last name (numerology, Human Design), date/time/place of birth (birth chart, Human Design, BaZi), form answers (reading), and your own declared text descriptions or selections (hands, iris color). If you use the optional photo path: the image itself is never retained — only the text it helped generate is, the same as any description you'd have typed.

Consent and age

The service is reserved for people aged 18 and over, who explicitly confirm this. Before generating a first portrait, you give two distinct, explicit consents: processing your birth data, and cross-referencing your readings across disciplines. If you use the optional photo path, a third, dedicated biometric consent is requested each time you send a photo. Each consent is logged (timestamp, text version). Deleting your account erases this log along with the rest of your data.

Storage

Data is encrypted at rest and stored in the European Union (Neon).
